North Powys Farmhouse

This is based on buildings that I have passed many times driving through the border arrears around Trallwng-Welshpool and Oswestry. There are a number of buildings that are a mixture of local stone and later brick, people obviously extended, and made use of older buildings as the basis for more modern fashionable structures in this area. There were a number of brickworks and limestone quarries between Trallwng, Llanymynach, and Llynclys. Despite the design for this model being freelance I think it typifies a number of farmhouses in that area.
